Ain't it all a paradox?

When did the absurd begin to feel so normal to us? And how deeply are we entangled in the very systems we criticize?

The new song “Paradox” reflects the ambivalence of a society in the age of AI and social media, one that seems trapped in the pursuit of consumption and constant self-optimization. Not least, the song questions our very own behavior in the midst of it all.

The song is part of the upcoming album by my project The Ediacaran (pronounced: /ˌiːdiˈækərən/) that builds on the many years of collaboration between me and Mr.Mahous. Its fundamental concept is to transcend both geographical and stylistic boundaries by including contributions from musicians across a wide range of genres. With its name the project refers to a prehistoric era in which various life forms coexisted peacefully, drawing inspiration from the idea of harmony in diversity.
